Warranty Information
Aegis Scientific is committed to providing the best quality medical products and appliances that are manufactured according to the highest quality standards and protocols. Thus, Aegis warrants its customers for 1 year from the date of purchase for all Refrigerators, Freezers and Ultra Low Freezers.
The warranty includes parts and service charges for the 1st year only. The compressor is warranted for 5 years.
Conditions for Warranty Coverage:
- The owner of the product purchased from Aegis has used the product responsibly and is actively following the care and maintenance guidelines specified in the product manual.
- The original bill of purchase or Invoice must be presented to Aegis in order to avail warranty benefits. Any modification, tampering or damage to these documents shall render this warranty void.
- This warranty only covers repairs or replacement of the damaged parts of the Aegis product occurring due to manufacturing defects. It does not entitle the customer to claim for a replacement of the entire damaged product.
- Replacement or repairs of parts will be conducted at the discretion of the Aegis authorised personnel. After the completion of the warranty period, all costs of repair/replacement as well as transportation costs will be borne by the customer.
- The warranty is only applicable to Aegis products purchased and serviced in the United States of America.
Exclusions to the Warranty:
- No person, agency, distributor or company is authorized to make any changes to this warranty document as it is the sole property of Aegis.
- This warranty is non-transferrable
- This warranty only covers manufacturing defects or defects that occur due to the breakdown of the product. Any form of damage occurring due to dust, water, fire, voltage fluctuations beyond what is specified for the product, manhandling, environmental factors, or failure to use the product according to the instruction manual, is not covered by this warranty.
- This warranty does not cover routine maintenance, preventive checks, overhaul and cleaning.
